The star power-filled list of nominees is heavy on studio fare and light on indies, despite a breakout year for art house films. The fall’s pair of antebellum-era films, Lincoln and Django Unchained, lead the nominations, with Steven Spielberg‘s biopic of the assassinated president leading the pack with seven nods.
