With Queen Elizabeth in attendance, the Tony-winning star of The Bodyguard wowed the crowd with “I Will Always Love You” as part of a show bill that also featuared teen heartthrobs One Direction, Neil Diamond, Andrea Bocelli and Katherine Jenkins. It’s a big week for Headley, who will celebrate her opening night as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard on December 5 at the Adelphi Theatre, co-starring Lloyd Owen as Frank Farmer and directed by Thea Sharrock. A romantic thriller, The Bodyguard features a multitude of Houston’s greatest hits, including “Queen of the Night,” “So Emotional,” “One Moment in Time,” “Saving All My Love,” “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” “Run to You,” “I Have Nothing,” “How Will I Know,” “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “I Will Always Love You.”
