ABC has just ordered Shonda Rhimes’ show “Scandal” for a full season 2. the series, which stars Kerry Washington: is the first series to be led by a African American woman since 1971 with Julia by Dianne Carroll. The show reportedly averages 8 million viewers per episode. Scandal, meanwhile, will see its sophomore season grow from 13 episodes to a full season of 22 hours of the political fixer drama from Grey’s Anatomy boss Shonda Rhimes. The Thursday drama has been a constant performer on Thursday nights, holding steady with a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49.
