Oprah Winfrey has linked up with HBO to produce a new television drama for the network.The untitled project is about a wealthy academic who becomes the first black president at a prestigious liberal arts college. As the new career move propels him and his family into the nation’s headlines, they struggle to upkeep the façade of a perfect family, while dealing with personal battles.The deal between Harpo Productions and HBO to develop movies, documentaries and scripted series was first signed in 2008.
