Mike Epps has joined the cast of director Cynthia Mort’s Nina Simone project, which will star Zoe Saldana as Simone and David Oyelowo as her Paris-based manager Clifton Henderson. I know I know it was widely rumoured that Saldana was being replaced with Esperanza Spaulding, but since the movie is set to shoot this week in Los Angeles, it looks like Saldana is still on board. OH, stop that!!! Man up, she is an actress. Epps will be playing Richard Pryor. This on the heels of his SPARKLE performance has Epps riding high and taking names!!!!
