On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the seminal publication, In the Life: A Black Gay Anthology, edited by Joseph Beam, we will provide new interpretations of the late 80s and early 90s black gay arts movement, examine the contemporary political and artistic critical thought as it relates to black gay men. I am proud to be a contributor to this Anthology with my piece IF WE MUST DIE, LET IT NOT BE LONELINESS THAT KILLS US.
